Reputable and trustworthy

Inspiration Computers opened in 2003 with the aim of supporting home users, and people who work from home or in small businesses. Lee and Alison wanted to offer great technical support, up-to-the-minute knowledge, and good customer service, but without being too geeky or full of jargon.

We have an excellent reputation with customers all over the country, backed up by online reviews. You can check these out on Google+ and our Facebook Page.

In 2022 we won the prestigious national title of “Which? Trusted Trader of the Year”.

Alison Grant

Alison was dabbling in computers from the age of seven, when her computer-teacher Dad taught her to program a ZX80. Alison is constantly taking on new web clients, and is enjoying the variety of this alongside repairing and building PCs. She is currently training (part-time) to be a vicar in the Church of England. She fits all this around the school run and after-school activities with Jemima & Maeve. In her spare time Alison plays the piano and violin.
Lee Grant

Lee Grant

Lee has been building computers now for nearly forty years (yes, I know he doesn't look old enough...) He studied computing at University, and since 2003 has been enjoying running Inspiration Computers and the variety that brings. No problem is too great or small for Lee to tackle. Lee is a Contributing Editor for PC Pro, where he writes a monthly column, and he also writes for Big Tech Question, Techfinitive and is a regular on the PC Pro Podcast. Apart from computers, Lee loves being a dad to Jemima & Maeve, and likes ice-cream, motor racing, and his wife. But not necessarily in that order!
